Boston Bruins Foundation
My final internship I completed during the summer semester of 2018. I was a very trusted intern throughout my time at the Boston Bruins Foundation which allowed me to grow independently in the workforce and work in the field that I saw myself going into. Some of the tasks I completed at my internship are listed below:
- Assist Foundation Manager with finances.
- Run 50/50 raffle sales, as well as silent and live auctions at events.
- Work with volunteers and promotional staff at events.
- Review & respond to donation requests & grant applications.
- Assist in the booking of Bruins mascot Blades.
- Assist in the execution of the Boston Bruins Foundation annual Harbor Cruise & annual Golf Tournament.
- Assist in supporting Pan Mass Challenge team.
- Secure raffle, live auction, and silent auction items for events.
- Research initiatives from other NHL team foundations.
- Work with Bruins athletes at events to ensure all photos & autographs for Foundation were taken care of.
The Boston Bruins Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit affiliated with the NHL Boston Bruins. They help to support the people of the New England area to promote inclusion, sports, education, & healthy lifestyles for all.

One Mission Inc.
During my time at One Mission I was given many tasks and activities to complete. Working for One Mission throughout the summer of 2017 allowed me to discover what I want to do with my life and future. Some of the tasks I had to complete are listed below:
-Supporting the entire One Mission team with various projects
-Research groups to approach about hosting Buzz Off events
-Researching how to reach potential marathon runners for Team One Mission
-Event assistance
-Helping with event prep, set up, day of, breakdown, etc. of the Buzz Off and Mookie's Big League Bowl
-Procession offline donations for event participants
-Assisting with Post Buzz Bash and helping to run event on event day
-Curate content for social media outlets, as well as planning and executing content
-Assist in bulk mailings
-Assisting in administrative task
One Mission is a pediatric cancer 501(c)(3) charity that does whatever it takes to get kids through cancer. They host programs to make life a little easier for children and their families in the hospital. The Buzz Off is the company's largest fundraising event at Gillette Stadium that includes major athletes from the area such as Rob Gronkowski and where people shave their heads for the kids after months of fundraising.
